YOUR ROLE
Our Biotechnology team is looking for an Equity Research Analyst. In this role you will be part of a small and passionately curious team, highly skeptical of any information but at the same time hopelessly optimistic that the industry will live up to its promise to deliver outstanding care for patients and prolong human life. Together, you will be leveraging BIT Capital’s resources, including expert networks, alternative datasets, and proprietary research tools, and deliver best-in-class returns to our fund investors.

- Search, identify, and evaluate unique investment opportunities, particularly focusing on the assets in clinical development stage
- Perform excruciatingly detailed Due Diligence (you will need to know everything that the company published, including in all SEC filings – especially the small print)
- Commercial modeling – detailed understanding of value generation in the Biopharma industry, comfortable with NPV modeling
- Working with the data engineering team to establish a proprietary database of all drugs in clinical development
- Attending scientific and medical medical conferences (in person and virtually)
- Networking and interviewing key opinion leaders to capture the next generation of innovation
- Regularly monitor and interpret the latest trends in assigned therapeutic areas
- Assist the Portfolio Manager and Head of Operations with daily and monthly performance attribution reporting and subsequent inclusion in marketing materials.
